The ambition of IranianProfessors.com is to break communication barriers and function as a powerful search engine through which Iranian academia from all over the world can network and interact. The site is primarily initiated by the Iranian Student Association of Ryerson University (ISARU) located in Toronto , Ontario , and has no political or other affiliations.
IranianProfessors.com is honored to announce that the Tribute to Iranian-Canadian Academia was finally set to occur on Thursday, May 11, 2006 after more than 8 consecutive months of effort and study. Through this research this association was able to release the quantity of 264 Iranian professors who are contributing to Canadian universities. In this prestigious event at Winston Prince Hotel, Toronto , Canada , 33 Ontario Iranian professors were integrally introduced and awarded for the pride they bring to Iranian community all across the world. Ten important Ontario governmental characters such as David Miller, the City of Toronto Mayer , were hosted by the IranianProfessors.com event of Tribute in accordance to appreciation of Iranian Canadian Professors' effort and success.
Dr. Bita Amani
IranianProfessors is proud to introduce Dr. Bita Amani as this month's Professor of the Month. It was in 1993 when Dr. Amani first entered York University, Toronto, ON in a double major specialized in Humanities and English.
